The Agriculture industry there are two distinct groups of health and safety measures that need to be taken into account, planned around and implemented: basic occupational health and safety measures and hygiene, food safety and quality measures
The construction industry contributes vastly to the statistics of employee injuries and fatalities and this can be attributed to non-compliance to health and safety legislation, uneducated employers and employees (regarding health and safety), failure to implement any sort of health and safety measures, and so forth. Therefore, health and safety measures are a proactive investment to prevent potential financial misfortune.
Food and Beverage industries across the globe are becoming increasingly more competitive and more cutthroat – especially in terms of food safety and quality. The South African Food industry isn’t exempt from safety and quality challenges. At Aspirata we understand these challenges and endeavour to assist our clients in being one step ahead of their competition.
Given the vastness of this industry, no single approach and/or plan will provide a sufficient solution to health and safety. Our approach to tailor make solutions is supported by the fact that we borrow expertise and experience from two of our main service lines – Occupational Health and Safety and Hygiene, Food Safety and Quality – to provide top-class solutions for this sector.
The retail industry, being a working environment for some and a recreational environment for others, is not traditionally perceived as a high-risk environment in terms of health and safety.
